Craniosacral Therapy in Water™ Module 1 with Elisa Muñoz Blanco
March 4, 2026 - March 9, 2026

Craniosacral Therapy in Water™ was developed in 2010 by Elisa Muñoz Blanco, after years of study, research, and clinical practice. Originally described as a powerful yet subtle technique to balance the Craniosacral Rhythm (CSR) and release restrictions in the connective tissue, it leverages the unique properties of the aquatic environment to support healing.

Over time, it became clear that this work is more than a method — it’s a concept. It offers a flexible, client-centered approach for therapists, students, and practitioners seeking a deeply intuitive and responsive healing framework.
This approach blends elements of WATSU®, Craniosacral Therapy (CST), Manual Therapy, and Myofascial Induction Therapy® (MIT®). The goal is to:
• Enhance neuroception and interoception.
• Restore healthy craniosacral function.
• Release connective tissue restrictions.
• Re-establish the body’s hydrodynamic balance.
Through gentle, intentional touch and fluid movement, both client and therapist embark on a shared journey. Together, they follow the body’s natural rhythms and spontaneous responses in an atmosphere of deep listening and presence.
Key Principles:
• Support subtle physiological rhythms.
• Respect physical limits and spontaneous movements.
• Maintain a state of “being with” the patient, rather than “doing to”.
• Offer an environment for surrender, safety, and trust.
The aquatic setting provides constant support, elongation, and alignment, allowing for deeper, three-dimensional tissue releases that are often unattainable on land.
