The traditional Thai Yoga massage is an ancient form of therapeutic healing. With its roots in India, it was brought to Thailand over 2500 years ago by Ayurvedic doctors and Buddhist monks. Thai Yoga massage is a synthesis of many techniques, using pressure, reflexology, energy line work, blood stopping, stretching and Yoga. To achieve all these effects, therapists use many parts of their body, palms, thumbs, feet, elbows, forearms, and knees.

The work is done on the floor using a mat. It lasts for two hours and is done without oil. The receiver should dress in light, loose, comfortable clothes.
