Offered by several practitioners and students of aquatic bodywork
Liquid Flow is a form of bodywork, a therapy offered in warm water, ideally of temperatures about 35° C. It is being developed at Quiet Healing Center in Auroville, South India, inspired and based on the forms and qualities of Watsu, Aquawellness and Waterdance.
| | With a complete sense of presence and attention, the therapist holds, moves and mobilizes the client's floating body with their face above the water's surface and with the possibility to bring them under the surface as well, in a flow unique to each client, to each session. | |
| | The
interaction with the water, its support and warm embrace and the practitioner's assistance,
is providing space and possibility for a client to deepen and experience the
multilayered effects of this powerful and softening work. Space for deep relaxation,
for being rather than doing, for building trust, for expanding our inner and outer
boundaries, for releasing emotions and traumas stored in the body, inviting
openness for being nurtured and freeing the busy mind by freeing the body.
An
invitation to letting go, to bring awareness into the present moment, the only moment,
where the body's abilities of healing might find space.

Liquid flow is
suitable for everyone at any age. |
